Hello, my name is Charles Ashley.  Most folks just call me Chuck (among a few other things).  I’m just a small town guy from Ellisville, MS., I am so happy to finally be open here at 301 East Kings Hwy. I offer “take and bake” items, full scale market, and on/off site catering.  Here at Kitchen 301 you will find some of the

best food in North Louisiana.

I grew up around food, in the kitchen with my mom and grandmother and cooking outside with my dad and uncles. Our family always had large groups when it came to eating. While in Mississippi I was

fortunate enough to work in the “food and hospitality” business for

several years while going to college. In 1996 I moved to Shreveport, and shortly thereafter (with the encouragement of friends) I opened my first catering and party planning business. During that time, I had the pleasure of employing one of the best chefs in North Louisiana for four very busy years. She taught me a lot! 

Since that time, I was the Executive Chef at Palmetto Country Club and later at Remington Place Restaurant and Grill. I have a true

passion to produce quality, fresh, delicious, and affordable food. I have a desire to help make your day to day life a little bit easier. We hope to make a lot of good friends and serve some great food, fresh locally and regionally grown produce, fresh grilling meats, scrumptious desserts, we also do some fabulous party planning and out of this world

catering. 

In addition to our regular services, I would be happy to do custom weekly meal planning for you and your family.  We will cater to your

special dietary needs, or your families favorite recipes to fit your signature taste. If its too hot, not enough heat, cut back on the salt, no salt, or smaller portions, just ask. I will be happy to customize your daily meals just the way you like them. I prepare each meal with the freshest products and a whole lot of love.
